Andrew Vafi (co-founder)
My name is Andrew, the co-founder of Gardens of Ibiza. I am the father of Sterre, Lieve, and Pepijn. I am passionate about nature and gardens.
Although I completed my university studies in Amsterdam (Business Administration and a Master of Science in Marketing) and pursued a career at some of Europe's largest corporations, I have established several entrepreneurial ventures over the past 10 years. This success enabled my family and me to emigrate and live in Ibiza. My true passion has always been nature. After designing several gardens myself and creating my own 1000m2 garden in Ibiza, I realized it was time to follow this passion fully.
Combining my university degree, retail knowledge, and experience with my love for gardens, I began training as a Garden Designer in 2022.
With passion, I am dedicated to bringing beautiful gardens to life.
Alberto (co-founder)
My name is Alberto, and I am the co-founder of Gardens of Ibiza. I’m a proud father of my daughter and a dedicated husband. My journey into the world of permaculture began after my studies at Valencia University, where I developed a deep passion for sustainable living. Permaculture is not just something I practice in my work—it's how I live my life.
After moving to Ibiza, I embraced the island’s natural beauty and started designing gardens that harmonize with the environment. My goal has always been to create green spaces that are not only functional but also sustainable and regenerative. Every garden I design reflects the permaculture principles I believe in, using natural processes to build ecosystems that thrive long-term.
As someone who lives by these principles daily, I’m passionate about sharing this knowledge with our clients. By choosing Gardens of Ibiza, you're not just investing in beautiful landscapes—you’re supporting a vision for a greener, more sustainable future.
