In the charming city of Sant Mateu, Ibiza, an old finca has been reborn into a lush, sustainable garden through the principles of permaculture. This farmhouse, with its rustic charm, now features a vibrant garden that embodies both beauty and ecological balance.

Permaculture principles have been meticulously applied to every aspect of this garden. The hardy Stipa grass, known for its resilience and low water needs, forms the backbone of the landscape. Currently, efforts are focused on transforming an adjacent area into a functional parking spot. This project integrates permeable surfaces to prevent water runoff, with Stipa and other native plants interspersed to create a green, welcoming space.
